How much time do you spend in your Dining Room?
I did just actually spend this evening in mine as I held a meeting in there…around the table.
But for the most part, it is not used often. However, it is an extension of the Family Room and the Entryway so it is important that it is furnished and part of the overall Design.
Just some quick highlights…
Again you can see the Red, Brown and Pops of Turquoise
As I was working on the Walls for this space, I couldn’t find the right pieces to fit within the design, so I created my own…painted the prints. I highlighted them in an earlier Post entitled Painting the Town.
Similar to the prints, I searched for the right curtains and couldn’t find them, so I sewed them myself. I will feature these in a later post.
There is still a small space that has Emma stuff in it. As you remember above, the Dining is an Extension of the Entryway. And the Entryway has Emma’s stuff everywhere. One wall here does as well.
I already know what I will replace this with, but Emma is not ready for that. And I am ok with that. Its not ideal to have a pink tent in the dining room, but hey…could be worse.
Just wait though when I can or decide to replace. The piece there will be awesome. That will have to be a post by itself. Ha!
Well…that’s it! Nothing else really too exciting or out of the ordinary.
I will just leave you with a few pieces that I love.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to walking you through the Living Room next week.

Isn’t it funny how our kids stuff ends up everywhere! I’m so glad you included that picture in this post! I’m really loving the turquoise accents you have in your dining room. They add a pop of color and life that not a lot of other colors can! I’m hopping over from Create It Thursday.
