As most weeks, we had a lot of great inspiration.  But we did want to start off with one that should Inspire us to Remember Never to Give Up and to Always Fight!  Over at Happily Ever Rushed, you can read a guest post entitled The “fight” for her life!

Now if that story doesn’t inspire you…

This week we thought we would feature some great Food Recipes for all those Festive Events happening this month such as Mother’s Day and Memorial Day Weekend.

First up is this Herb Potato Salad from Jay Tried and True.

Next…check out this Spring Quiche with Fresh Spinach, Shallots, Asparagus and Goat Cheese from Pure Grace Farms.

And lastly, a great Strawberry Shortcake that is also both Paleo and Gluten Free from Almost Supermom.

I am adding one of my recipes that seem to be a big hit still.  Its my Gurgen Salat aka Cucumber Salad.

But WAIT!  Inspiration doesn’t stop there.  Because Mothers Day and End of School is around the corner, visit Share it Sunday {26} for some great Mother Day or Teacher Gift Ideas as well as well as many other posts that you can peruse.

It’s time for Share it Sunday {27}!

    • Paula…sorry for the delay in response. Thank you for partying with us. Been a bit sick with this stupid toxoplasmosis. So again…I do apologize. Trying to catch up. Thanks again.

  3. Thanks for hosting!

I love that you featured a gluten-free Strawberry Shortcake recipe! I avoid desserts because of the gluten, and haven’t had time to figure out to make all of my favorites gluten-free.

    • Barb…thanks for commenting. Well hopefully you were able to try. I try to be gluten free as well because it makes a big difference in how I feel. Sorry for delay in response. A bit behind. Thanks again.
