Weekend Projects Inspiration
Can you believe the weekend is already over? Time flies when you are having fun! And the weather sure was beautiful here. Hope it was for you as well.
While I spent Saturday having some fun, Sunday was spent doing some…
I know you won’t have these same projects to do around your house, but I wanted to share in hopes that I can inspire you to make a list this week of all the projects you would like to do this next weekend!
The first one that I did was to hang a shelf above the Hamper Makeover. As you can see there are hooks on the shelf for those clothes that I am not ready to put in the hamper nor hang back in the closet.
Next up, I wanted to fix the labels on my spices. They have been coming off and have been quite annoying. I just used super glue and glued them back on!
I also wanted to fix the bathroom vanity table stool. I had recovered it a long time ago, but I had not screwed the cushion back onto the base. As such, the fabric that I had stapled was no longer completely stapled. So I had to staple again and then attach the two.
A much needed clean-up was a priority in my guest room. It had become a space for my crafts that had not been put away yet, seasonal decor, gifts and various other things. Whew was it a mess!!!
As part of the clean-up, I put a mirror together that I had ordered a long time ago. It was definitely time to get it out of the box!
And that’s it!!!
Have I inspired you yet? I hope so! Make your list of those small things that have been lingering and plan to do them when you have your first weekend day free. You will feel such an accomplishment. I know I do/did. 🙂
Coming up are some fabulous projects so stay tuned!

My goodness, you have been busy! I agree, it is all those little jobs that take up heaps of time. I have a list of about twenty things but it is finding the time to do them when I have to chase after two small boys who seem to demolish one thing if I am fixing another! Your guest room mirror is lovely, btw.

Now that’s a busy weekend! I wish I could say I did anything as useful as just one of the items you did. I did not. I lazed around with my husband, watching lots of Netflix – my one weakness.

Even when we get a big DIY job done there are always a a couple of little things that don’t get finished and keep getting put off. I think you have inspired me to make a list and to tackle a few of those little jobs this weekend as you accomplished so much x
