Well…31 Days are now complete!
Wow!!!
If you don’t think that writing about the same theme for that many days…STRAIGHT…was tough, then you should try it yourself.
It was definitely difficult and challenging and took a lot of energy to stay on top of and committed.
The hardest for me were the emotions. I know a lot about myself and am usually fairly honest, almost to a fault, about who I am….my weaknesses and challenges. But digging even deeper, below the surface, or having confirmation written or spoken out loud…was testing. There were days I was sad, frustrated, you name it.
But I think I have come out on top. It was all worth it. I know even more about myself. The strengths and weaknesses that I knew I had, I now have a better understanding why…what influenced or still influences them today.
The Goal of this 31 Days was to Find My Way!
Am I Done?
No! I still have some work to do. I may not write here everyday, but I do have to write somewhere. I have to keep on this path that I am walking down.
I am convinced that I may never be done with Finding My Way. But I am ok with that. We should always be challenging ourselves to do and be better.
I had a friend say to me, “Denise…I don’t think I could do it because I think I would learn things about myself that I don’t want to learn.”
I am the opposite. I want to learn so that I can be a better person for me, my family, in my career and all those around me. Sometimes I think its to an extreme. And I do need to make sure that I balance that. But having great people around me that I have reached out to during this challenge will help me to do just that.
I have to give a big thanks to my friend of whom I haven’t even known very long, Michele. She and I went through this together. While our topics were not at all related, just knowing she was there for me and reading my posts when no one else might have been, was a great feeling. And I know that she has learned more about herself as well.
You should stop by and check out her 31 Day Click, Inspire, Smile.
She is truly a great person, with a kind soul and great thoughts…and again…great photos!!
I also have to thank my life coach, my mentors, and a few friends that have both developed from this effort or that I have stopped by to read every now and then.
My biggest supporter is always Dana! She may not realize the impact that she has on me when she just adds a little comment or shoots over a “miss you” text. I love her friendship and am blessed to have her.
I may not be done, but I sure have come a long way. I will update every once in awhile.
For the very few of you who have been reading, I hope you learned a little as well.
I usually say something like See You Tomorrow or Until Then! Not sure how to end this one, except…
Thanks!
