By now, you have seen the Front Exterior and the Kitchen!
Now…its time for the Entryway!
I wish I could say it is this elegant space, but sadly it is not!
My Entryway is really Emma’s space. She doesn’t love to play in her room alone and I don’t love her to either.
So…what else you going to do? Give her a space out in the common areas, of course.
Only space available?
The Entryway!
When you walk in the Front Door you can’t help but immediately notice the rug! Ok…the rug is definitely not the first thing you see. But we will get back to the REAL first impression in a minute.
Let’s get back to the Rug!! I love it! It has the brown and red that I use as part of my main color scheme. And while I tout that Turquoise is my POP color, it is not the only POP!
Another one is this pink!
With Emma, there is so much pink, how can you not find a way to incorporate? It’s here to stay.
I never thought myself to be a pink person. But it has now grown on me. If you saw my Re-Dressed Dresser post, you can see that I am even adding pink into my closet design! Geesh the impact Emma has had on me!
Now on to the REAL first impression!
Yes…I am sure that the first thought when you walk into my door has to be…
OH! MY! G___!!!
Who has a playroom right there?!?! Yes (as I raise my hand…can you see me?)!!! I do!!!
That’s ok though! Emma loves it there and I love that she loves it! So what are you going to do? Soon enough I will be sad because she has outgrown all those toys and dolls and I will have to change the design. That will be probably be the day I cry…when I realize that my little girl is growing up!
Yes! It is crazy! Doll stuff everywhere!
But Oh! There is more…
Doll Bed and Doll Changing Station! Whew! That is a lot of Doll Stuff!
But as you can see…she has more than just her dolls that hang out by the door. We also have our books and our toys and our electronics and, and, and… A LOT of Stuff!
The only normal (and those aren’t really that normal either), are my clocks.
I call them my Wall of Clocks.
Here are just a few other unique pieces.
Nothing really elegant or exciting, but it serves a purpose for us. Next up will be either the Living Room, Dining Room or the Office. Haven’t yet decided. But check back next week to see which one I choose!

Abby…thanks for stopping by. I am going to do a post specifically on the wall. I will get done this weekend. I so love it myself. :). I actually want to take it one step further so I will ask for some help when I post. 🙂
