12 Days of Christmas – Day 1
I can’t believe its only 12 days before Christmas. This year has flown for us. How about for you?
As we get closer to the big holiday, I wanted to share a few things…
- One positive in my life.
- One of my favorite things about Christmas.
- A Christmas Design.
- Pictures of my family.
- One of my past Christmas posts.
While I am hoping that you get something out of this, I really need this for myself as much. We all know that I have had a tough 2 years. As such, I have been trying to be positive and thankful for what I have.
Christmas is such a special time of year and we should all take the time to stop, think, be thankful and remember what is important.
As such, we need to remember that WE are important. Anything that we do or say impacts someone. It’s like a quote that I read last night that reminded me of this…
So we need to be positive around others so that we impact them positively…not negatively.
This is my way to make sure that I continue down this path of being positive and thankful. I hope you find this as helpful for you as I know it will be for me. Be sure to comment below and let me know your thoughts.
Let’s get started!
One Positive in my Life
My family! Not only my immediate and my extended family, but those friends who have become family to us. We are truly blessed to have people to help us out, who really care for us and have prayed for us during these times of challenge.
One of my Favorite Things about Christmas
Finding the right gift for each person! It does become harder each year. And sometimes the perfect gift is just a giftcard. But whatever it might be, I love to know that I gave them something they really needed or wanted. Sometimes they may not even know they wanted it.
A Christmas Design
Beautiful Christmas Village!! I am not able to decorate and design my home this year so I will be highlighting designs from others. This Christmas Village belongs to Janice Anderson, my neighbor, who has become family for us. She adds something new each year to her collection so it continues to grow. Can you imagine her having much more space? Well she could most certainly make room. Love!
Pictures of my Family
Emma (7) and Mattias (2)!! This has to be one of my most favorite pics of these two.
This one is my most favorite, for sure. It was taken after Mattias was born and still in the NICU.
Looking at these two above, you can see how much they have grown. Emma really loves her little brother. I am blessed!
One of my past Christmas Posts
Christmas Burlap Table Runner Tutorial!! So easy and can be changed up every year and even used for other holidays.
Now that was fun! I am already looking forward to tomorrow! So come back and visit me as we continue to count down until December 25th. Remember…Be Thankful and You will be Positive! – Denise Murtha
See you tomorrow for Day 2!!!
