Gratitude Challenge Day 15
It’s Emma’s 6th Birthday Today!
And I am so excited for her, but sad, as well. Time is flying. Where did it go? I cannot believe Emma is 6 years old. Crazy!
Because Mattias’ first birthday is on Saturday, I combined their birthday parties into one. I may not be able to do that going forward, but this one I am able to get away with. I am, however, compensating Emma for that…meaning she is having a slumber party tonight. 6 girls are coming!
Yes I am INSANE! Ha! Nah…I think it will be fine. She will have so much fun. I am taking a PTO day tomorrow so the girls can swim and have fun all day long while their parents are at work.
The plan is, they will be dropped off after parents get off work tonight. We will make homemade pizza, eat cake and ice cream, have popcorn and watch a movie. That should take the whole night. Their bed will be in the living room where they can all sleep together.
Tomorrow they will have cinnamon rolls, swim, eat lunch and swim some more until it’s time for each of them to go home.
Before the day even begins though, when Emma wakes up, she will get present from us. I cannot wait for her to open up her American Doll. She will be so excited. She has an American Doll Itty Bitty Baby, but not THE doll. The look on her face will be priceless. I’ll have to capture and post an update here with the pic of it.
I do have to work today, but at some point, I will have to pick up her cake. Will be a My Little Pony cake. I’ll update with a pic of that as well.
Anyway…should be a great celebration for her. Then her party on Saturday. I’ll share more of that at a later date!
Life is good! We are blessed.
The 3 Things that I am Grateful for today…
1. That Emma is such a happy little girl.
2. That the first 6 years with her has been so much fun.
3. That we even have her. She is such a blessing to us and brings me so much joy!
I can’t wait to see what she is like as an adult. Wait! Yes I can! I don’t want time to move too fast. But you get what I mean. I know she is going to be a phenomenal person. She already is.
