Positive Thought of the Day
Yesterday I shared that I was having a tough time right now. If I am being honest, its been weeks that I have felt this down. When I realized that I needed to get out of the funk, I started running again, eating more healthy, journaling, trying to make more time for myself, blogging this 30 Day Gratitude Challenge and making a list of the things that were bringing me down with a plan to try to turn them around. And it has still taken me a bit of time to get through this…to get out of this slump.
I do have a lot of things to be Grateful for though and I will continue to share 3 of them, daily, as I continue this 30 Day Challenge, but today I want to challenge you.
As I was having a bit of anxiety last night, I took a nice hot shower. I don’t know about you, but that is one the time I can have alone time…even if for 5-10 minutes. Ha! The story of us moms. And I realized that maybe I need to tackle each negative issue a bit differently because what I was doing currently wasn’t working.
So this morning I challenged myself to pick the most troublesome issue and start turning it into a positive. What are the positives about this particular issue, what could be potential positive outcomes and it has forced me to see the situation in a different light.
What a great start to my day!

1. Change. That I am finally getting out this rut.
2. Power of positive thinking. Positive thoughts breed more positive thoughts.
3. My family and friends as they have been checking on me and ensuring that I am ok.
