Gratitude Challenge Day 5
Teamwork is Key
I could not get through some of my days without help from family, friends and colleagues that, combined, make up my team!
For example…
I have a team of people who I go to for help such as cleaning my house, mowing my lawn, technical issues and images for my blog and so many more things that I can’t even list. I consider them all a part of my team. Some bleed into friends, some are considered more colleagues, but regardless…a part of my team.
However, more personal…
Mattias has a babysitter Tuesdays thru Thursdays, but she likes to keep Mondays and Fridays open. On those days my neighbor helps me out by keeping Mattias for me. They both help me with Emma during the summer when she is not at a friends or doing a day camp.
I also have a circle of blog friends that are there for me for anything such as to throw ideas out for feedback, promote a post, create a group contest or various other things.
How about my colleagues?!?! I have a few of them that I could not live without who are there to listen to me vent or help me strategize my deals.
Mentors have also been helpful. While I haven’t defined any more recently, there are a few that I are my go to’s.
I could not live without my friends. They fill in as family for us because neither Andreas and I have any here in Houston. They are who help us out in a bind, who enjoy hanging with us on the weekends and who love our children.
Additionally, there is my extended family. Everyone plays some sort of part. And we are grateful to have those both in Alabama and Germany.
So…here are the 3 things that I am Grateful for:
1. My friends who are always there for us. I enjoy the sleepovers for Emma, the occasional lunches, the daily texts, etc.
2. My support system that include anything from my landscaping guy to my blog friends. My life would be even more crazy without this team.
3. My family. Whether they are my immediate family such as Andreas, Mattias or Emma or my extended being our families in Germany and Alabama, they each help support us in many different ways.
I am blessed.
