It’s a Celebration of Winter
Because it sure seems like Winter is here to stay for a bit!
Who’s ready for Winter to go home? Ready for some warm sun?
Oh! Oh! Oh!! ME!!!
But since it’s here to stay, we might as take advantage of some fun winter designing. Who would haveought that I love to decorate for the Winter? Definitely not me. But I do. So this is my second year (click here to see last years) to do so.
However, I did incorporate a little bit of Valentine’s, as well.
Although, if I am being honest, there is something missing in the wall design. Or maybe its just that the heart wreath is hanging too high?!?! I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but it will have to do. What do you think?
I do love my tablescape though. Just simple.
Which is so different from the Christmas table that had so many design elements.
As you can tell, my design consists of a lot of natural stuff (for a lack of a better term 🙂 ). Stuff such as burlap, natural wood and pine cones.
And I didn’t have to put everything away when I took down Christmas. Did you join me as I shared my A Procrastinators Christmas Home Tour? If you did, you would have seen these Wall Hangings that I left up and incorporated in this design.
I have used the Burlap Canvas in quite a few seasonal designs. Be sure to check out one of the tutorials and view all the wreaths for each of the seasons or holidays.
Of course, we can’t forget the mantel. Like the heart wall hanging, I am not sure I truly love the mantel this time around. Do you like it?
The wreath is one that I created last Christmas and provided a Tutorial for.
Have I lost my touch? My design touch? I feel like I have. I don’t feel quite as creative as I was, but am hoping that it is just because of all that I have gone through. Hoping it will come back soon. Surely.
So…thanks for hanging around with me the last few months.
Thank you also for walking through my home with me.
This tour was part of the A Celebration of Winter in which 25 of us bloggers shared any and everything Winter.
Be sure to stop by and visit all of the blogs for some great inspiration. Even if Winter has passed you by and you feel its too late to decorate now…Pin the photos so you have inspiration for next year.

I wouldn’t worry about your creativity having left you. I think it is just having a busy life and not enough sleep talking. That burlap panel you made sure has been a workhorse for you. It’s so versatile. And I love what you’ve done with your house. It is so pleasant and festive.
