Wow!
I’m Back!!
Yay! And I want to share What’s Coming, New or What to Expect!
But first…what do I mean by “I’m Back”?
Where did I go?
Well…most of you know that, in April, we announced that we were expecting a New Addition to our family.
I didn’t just have morning sickness, I had baby sickness (all day puking). Could it have been that I was Pregnant and Over 40. Was that why I was so sick?
Could it have been just being pregnant, being over 40 and/or the stresses of my Traditional Sales Career?
The answer to all of those…No! Of course not!!!
Shortly after learning that I was pregnant, I found out that I had contracted Toxoplasmosis.
Man…was I miserable…very sick from the normal baby sickness, the Toxoplasmosis itself and the meds to kill the parasite. And as such, I had to prioritize. My blogging had to take a back seat so I could focus what little energy that I had on both my sales career and my family.
However, I did continue to participate in Share it Sunday weekly during that time.
Thankfully the other two women, Michele and Sondra helped out by writing most of the posts. There were, however, some weeks that I either didn’t post or was late publishing. I have to thank these two women for putting up with me and taking on the slack.
Thank you!!!
For the most part, during this time, I was Missing in Action.
Really the few posts, other than Share it Sunday, came from some blogger friends who supported me by Guest Posting. I can’t thank them enough either. Check these out below by clicking on the Images. I will be doing a Round-up soon of these so they are in one spot.
Additionally, Crafty Allie allowed me to Co-Host at Worthwhile Wednesdays for a few weeks. I am not sure when that will end, but you can find any new posts here.
AND!! Amanda allowed me to participate in the Grow Your Google+ Circles. BTW…you have a chance to link up there for a few more weeks. Link your Profile and add others to your Circles.
There were a few of my own, original posts, here and there, from March until July, but I won’t add those here as I probably wore those out. I had so few, I had to Feature them when I could. But you can find those posts, if you click on any of the Archived Months below:
Now on to What’s New, Coming or What to Expect.
I have slowly started posting again, in July. Since I had the opportunity to take my first ever, 2 week beach vacation, I thought I would feature our trip to Jamaica, as well as, both, past trips and future trips in my new series entitled “Traveling the World”.
I will also be starting another new series, entitled “Finding Perspective”…
…and adding to both my Pregnant and Over 40 and The Truth About Toxoplasmosis Series.
I am looking forward to changing my Site and Social Media Images in the next week or two. As you saw above…the current was a spring theme. Yes…a bit behind.
As well, I have several DIY projects that I want to do asap, Videos that I want to organize and add to, Round-ups to put together, Home Tour Tuesdays to pick back up and, as you know, Fall is right around the corner. Lots of great things planned.
Denise Designed Services will start back in full swing so you will have to stay tuned to What is Coming! Too soon to announce now.
And…something exciting…I will be introducing you to bHip. More info to come on that one as well as a few other things that I have up my sleeve!
Whew! That is a lot to manage with a full-time traditional career, a family and the pending birth of our son! I am already tired. But if you remember, I learned some Perspective during this past few months, so as it relates to What to Expect…
I will be careful to not over do it and I will ensure that I both pace myself and balance better.
Alright! Enough!! But before I go I need to make sure to…
Thank You…
…for sticking with me! I am blessed to have so many great things happening, great friends and family and all of you in my life.
Life is good! Ok…see you more often now and have a fabulous week!

Denise,
Welcome back and I am glad you are feeling better. I can not wait to see what you have coming our way.
Let me know if I could help in anyway. I know the all day everyday sickness for 9 months X 2 but, I was under 30 without an additional parasite.

What a whirlwind your life is, friend! Good for you for using your resources to keep things going. And I hope you really do have a more realistic pace in mind for your blog as this baby comes into your life. One thing my kids have taught me is to pace myself much more slowly than I would have chosen. But it the long run, it has allowed me to fit a wider variety of things into my life, making it richer than I could have imagined. Listen to your family’s needs first, then add in the other things. Doing this makes for some really hard choices, often with you being the one to sacrifice, but it gives you a life with no regrets. Glad to hear your taking care of yourself and the bean.
All the best,
Marian

You are right Marian…need a realistic pace. We shall see. Harder said than done for me. But I am trying it. And putting my family first has to be key. Its good to hear from you. I have missed you. I hope things are going well with you. Did you make it to Haven this year?
