Share It Sunday {32} is Live!
Summer seems to have officially kicked off across the country with all the last days of school and graduation. How exciting…my favorite time of the year.
I, personally, hope to enjoy it more soon as the Amniocentesis results are closer…the 23rd. I have plans to celebrate that day and that will be my official kickoff! 🙂 To learn more about the challenges I am facing, you can read My Story about Toxoplasmosis and Pregnancy that I posted this past week. I hope to provide the follow-up posts later this week in prep for the big day.
But as an update…I tapered my doses of the medicine over the last few days and have felt so much better. I even had a good day, all day yesterday and into the evening with no vomiting or nausea. Very exciting. But today I will be back to normal doses as I finish out the last week (I hope).
As well, I have a group of blogger friends that have volunteered to help me out with guest posting. Last week, Michele, from Our Rosey Life, posted How to Distress and Whitewash Terra Cotta Pots. Stay tuned as I have some good ones this week. And be sure to check out the new Our Rosey Life Blog as Michele has a fabulous new design that she launched this week.
But now on to the Features for the Week!
Here are some more summer favorites from Share It Sunday {31}. There were a lot of great ideas, projects, crafts, recipes and home decor ideas. This week, we’re going to share some of the best, with a summer twist.
Maria from Krafty Cards Etc made a pom pom patriotic wreath with a ton of pom poms. She’s guessing maybe 100. Whew! That’s a lot of pom poms and the result is fantastic and well worth it. I’d love to have this wreath for my front door!
Janel from A Mom’s Take shares an awesome tutorial on how to make a new, stained headboard for the bedroom. I really like the dark stain with the white and silver bed linens and pillows. So fresh and pretty for summer!
Kristi from Making It In the Mountains took simple paper mache letters and turned them into vintage, chippy WOW! These letters look really awesome and I love the green and silver colors. Kristi gives a great step by step tutorial. Wouldn’t these letters be a great addition to a summer mantel?
A family favorite is a good Caesar salad. Kaylin from Keep It Simple Sweetie shares her recipe for a grilled Caesar salad. This looks scrumptious and is perfect for a summertime dinner.
Let’s finish with a great dessert. Laura and Angela from About a Mom made the most delicious looking lemon buttermilk pie with blueberries on top. I think this pie would be divine at a July 4th BBQ and I doubt there’d be a crumb left in the pie dish!
Great stuff!! Thanks to everyone who linked up to Share It Sunday {31}!
