Spring Home Tour on Home Tour Tuesdays

Come on in!!!

Rather than taking you from room to room, as in a traditional home tour, I want to feature various elements that I have used throughout my design.  I think its important to have variety but ways to tie it all in…have design flow.

So let’s get started…

This season I continued the Burlap that I used in the Fall, Christmas and the Valentine/Winter Holidays or Seasons.

As you can see, in the above photo, I incorporated Burlap Flowers, Eggs and Pillows.  Additionally, I used the Burlap Canvas that I posted earlier in the year, DIY Burlap Canvas, and just added the Spring Wreath.

The Runner, I shared how to DIY in the Fall.

Each season or holiday, I used an overlay that I changed just for that time of year.  But this time, I thought I would try plain…without one.

New to the design are the Natural Boxwood Topiary and Wreath.

I love them because I don’t have to water them but once a month!  Something else I don’t have to water at all are the White Flowers in both Wreath form and Arrangements.

Because Easter is right around the corner, I did have to add a few Easter elements such as the pillow, bunnies and eggs.

Of course, because Turquoise is an Easter color, I added more pops of Turquoise throughout, as you can see in all of the photos above, while still keeping my primary color, Red.  Wow that was a long sentence.  Sorry.  Sad thing is…that is truly how I talk.

This was the first time I have decorated for the Spring.  But I can’t imagine not doing this annually.  I am sure that I will expand the design with more and new elements.
