Swing into Spring Mantel

I do love Spring and this is my first time to Design specifically for Spring.

Before blogging, I really only changed my design for the Holidays.  But that has changed significantly.  And I am glad!  Now I have a reason to decorate for my favorite time of the year!

Ok…if I am being honest…summer is my favorite time as it relates to weather, but Spring has the beautiful flowers, budding trees, green grass and the start of the warm weather.  We have usually been inside during the winter freezing and Spring just comes at the right time.  This year, however, Spring has not really peeked its head out fully.  It’s still chilly.  Brrr!

But I decorated, nonetheless, in hopes that it would really make her feel welcome so that she would do more than just tease us, but stay here for good.

As you can see above, I kept my staples, the Frame, Monogram Letter and Candle Pillars.

The frame usually has a Canvas Family Photo hung inside of it.  For the Christmas holidays, the frame came down.  But for the Fall, Valentines/Winter and then for the Spring, I have hung wreaths.  I love this white flower one.

You will never guess where I found it?!?!  HEB!  Yes…you heard it right…HEB (one of our local grocery stores).  Can you imagine?  I also found this vase that I used for my Valentines/Winter Design.

I just changed the flowers in the vase itself.  I used burlap to tie in the burlap that I used throughout the design.  You will see more of those in a later post!

Because Easter is right around the corner, I wanted to add these burlap bunnies.  Love them.

And these I bought at my local Hobby Lobby.  Man…they sure do get a lot of my money…Hobby Lobby!

If you look closely at the Mantel, you will find some other pieces of decor that you may have noticed in earlier designs or that are unique.
