Sorry that I am late! Thanks for meeting me tonight!!
I am so excited that you have joined me as I am featuring…
Redhead Can Decorate on Home Tour Tuesdays!!!
Welcome!
Let me first introduce you to Julie!
Julie started decorating long before she launched Redhead Can Decorate.
As a child, she can recall designing and re-designing her room. As an adult, while being a teacher, what she enjoyed most was not teaching the children (although she really did love the children A LOT), but decorating the classroom. And then even later, as a stay at home mom, raising two beautiful children, she spent a lot of time working on “do it yourself” projects. Design was something she had passion for and enjoyed.
Her friends and family took notice of her talents and nudged her to share those DIY projects.
Redhead Can Decorate was born.
There is so much more to learn about Julie, so head over to the Redhead Behind the Curtain for more…
Because I was so late, lets get on with the Tour.
Before we go inside, we have to take a walk around the perimeter of her house. I am in awe with the lot itself. Just take a look at some of the beautiful elements such as the backyard.
Can you imagine this view as your own?
Heaven!!!
And looking back at the house from here…
Awesome!
Now lets go back so we can enter through the front door.
What I love most about this house is all the dark wood. I am a dark wood kinda girl myself and you can peruse my Home Tour to see as well.
Just take a look at the richness that the dark wood creates in this kitchen.
And it continues into the family room!
And again…in the office.
But what I really love is that her office, was originally the dining room!!!
Looking at this room, I can’t even imagine it with a dining room table in it! You can see the transformation HERE!
There are so many more rooms to take you in, but ALAS…we are out of time again!
However like Melissa at The Inspired Room, Julie is allowing you to meander around. Take time to enter the rooms above to see more of each space.
Visit all the spaces that we could just not walk through together.
Again! Thank you for meeting me here tonight! See you next week as we Tour another fabulous home!
Now it’s your turn!

I am in awe of her home! (And also feeling woefully inadequate – I have NO decorating genes LOL). I love her office!
