Here we are in the new year!!

Wow!  Time flies!  I cannot believe it.  Doesn’t seem as though its been almost a year since I started Blogging.  When I first started, I had some goals, but nothing written down so it was hard to evaluate them for 2013.  My main goal was to get it up and running with hopes that it would grow.  And I achieved both.  Yes I am patting myself on the back!  🙂

This year I wanted to make sure that I set and wrote some down because I definitely have more this year.

So I am going to share my Blogging 2014 Goals!

Specifically I want to improve my photography, use of SEO, establish a less stressful blog calendar and continue to add/change the actual site.

I have already started private sessions so that I can include better photos in my posts.  Hopefully you will see them continue to evolve.

While I have had a blog calendar for quite some time, it has been filled with posts every day.  I just cannot post daily so I need to refine a bit so that I am posting good content that really interests you.

My site has really been going through a lot of changes.  I love it now, but I still need to continue to add and change it up a bit so stay tuned for some pretty spectacular things (or at least I think they are spectacular).  🙂

SEO will be a bit more difficult for me, but I am determined to figure it out.  Anyone want to help?  Man…I sure could use some!!  Don’t all stand in line at once.  Ha!  Seriously though…if anyone has some tips, I sure would appreciate.

There is so much that I want to do to grow my blog into a business such as adding ads, reviews and sponsored posts.  Additionally I want offer several different services.

I have already added some ads so I am super excited about that accomplishment.  Yay for me!  I do have a lot more work to do to maximize the ads, placement, etc.  But at least I am on the right path.

Unfortunately I cannot share all the services I have planned as I am still working on them. They are written down and set as goals, but since I am open to change and continue to evolve regularly, I am sure that my ideas will change some.  I can share though, that I have launched my Media Kit Service.  Click here: Media Kit Program to learn more.  Expect the service offerings to continue to launch throughout the year.  I am so excited and cannot wait to see how well they go.

And lastly…

This one will really happen more organically with good content and photos, but I do need to have it as a goal.  And as such, I have some activities planned to help me, over and beyond, such as doing some guest posts, participate in more giveaways and improve my Google presence.

I am happy to say that I have already taken some steps, as it relates to Google.  I worked on my Google + profile.  Check it out and tell me what you think!!

There are some great announcements to come regarding the guest posting and giveaways…just not today.  You will have to wait to hear about those as well.

So I really only created 3 goals.  There are quite a few objectives under each that could have been separate goals, but just seemed a bit overwhelming and thus, I organized them so that they didn’t seem like so many.  Power of the mind right?
