Since our home does not have a Formal Living Room…our Family Room is it!
And while I think the Kitchen is the Heart of the Home…
…our Family Room is the center of our Home!
In fact, Emma doesn’t even like to play her own room, as is evident with her toys being in the Entry Way, rather she brings everything into the Family Room to play! So when I say it is the center of the house…it truly is!
Any time I spend relaxing is usually spent on our couch, which is a semi-couture design. We had 5 different couches to choose from, could modify them as we wanted and chose the fabric.
In the picture above, you can see my sweet Emma hanging out as she watches TV. Here is a close up of her fabulous chair from Pottery Barn Kids.
It is a smaller room than I would like, and without a Formal Living Room, we had to add additional seating where we could. I love this contrasting chair.
As in every room that you have seen thus far, there is evidence of Emma everywhere.
There is still some space for us. This bar is my most favorite piece of furniture in the house. I will have to highlight it for you later. But you open it up and wow!!! Amazing! I will just leave you wondering for the time being!
As you know, from the Kitchen and Dining Room Tours, while red and brown are my primary colors, one of my pop colors is the Turquoise. I created this wall design using the Turquoise. That is a post in itself. A lot of work! Whew!!! But as you can see…lots of pictures of Emma and I wanted to make the bare wall stand out.
Of course, the Fireplace is the focal point of the room.
And can’t forget the accent pieces throughout!
Hope you have enjoyed visiting another part of my room this week. There is more to see so watch out for the other rooms.
If you notice, I try to do Room Tours on Tuesdays.
