A bit ago I re-blogged a post regarding the Versatile BB Cream.
And I am one of those that has definitely spent the money on various BB Creams, hence the reason that I wanted to post something regarding them.
However, as soon as that post hit, I received a comment that there was a new one on the market…the CC Cream! Geesh!
That was only in June! And now we have even a more new version called the DD Cream.
What are the differences between them all? What do they each do?
Let me break it down for you!
The Blemish Balm (aka BB) Cream is a tinted moisturizer that you can layer for added coverage and contains an SPF. So it can be used as a foundation.

The Color Correcting or CC Cream has some of the same benefits as the BB Cream such as the SPF and moisturizer. Additionally though, the CC Cream is said to have anti-aging and blemish control benefits all while correcting or evening the skin tone out and reducing the redness. But CC Creams do not provide the coverage and are not used as foundations as the BB Creams are, but as primers instead.

The DD Cream (the D’s have different meanings depending on the brand) is supposed to be a BB and CC Cream, combined. on steroids. What does that mean? A DD Cream has all the benefits of both the BB and CC Cream but has better anti-aging qualities to reduce lines over time.
There you have it! I don’t have any favorites for the DD Cream yet as it is just now making its way into the US Market. I do have some BB Cream favorites for sure though as I have tried several. The one that I used the most currently is the Dr. Jart Premium.
