This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Haven Conference…for DIY Bloggers. It was definitely a lot of fun and overwhelming…all at the same time. I did not think I would come back with so much new information and so many new friends, inspirations and products (swag bag stuff). Yes…I did say PRODUCT! Ha!
Before I begin though, I just have to say that I could not have been so prepared without my new blog design from Cultivate Media:

So lets just start with the swags. Man o man!! What a ton of stuff I received, upon arrival, in this fabulous bag:
I wish I would have taken a picture of it all. I had to leave some things behind and opt out of items because I just could not transport them back. I am sure I will get good use out of it all.
Now how about the friends?!??! I was able to catch up with a few that I already knew:
AND was able to make some new ones:
A lot of great connections.
I am definitely blessed!
How about the new Info? Geesh! I was a bit overwhelmed with the Session Options. Just take a look at one day of programming:
In fact, there were so many that I wanted to attend that I had to find people to exchange notes with.
And how about the new inspirations?
It all started with the Opening Session given by Ana White…a great woman with an amazing story. And it ended with a great call to action from Habitat for Humanity…To Do Good in a Grand Scale.
Then, of course, Southern Accents Architectural Antiques was there as a Sponsor and I had an opportunity to coordinate a drop off for some great pieces that I cannot wait to get my hands on. Watch out for the future posts!
But additionally…just being around all the women, looking at their blogs, talking with them, and sitting in their classes have sparked some great ideas. So many that I am not sure where to begin. I’ll have to keep you posted!
I even had a chance to do some shopping…bought some great Cuffs from Lucy’s Inspired:
If you recall, I gave away one during my Virtual Launch Party as well. Now I have one for myself and one as a gift to give! Thanks Lucy!!! Be sure to check out her Etsy Shop to buy your own Cuff, Necklace or Jewelry Holder.
Of course, I do now have a lot of ideas to ponder…things to do differently, add, etc. I’ll share those with you later as I will need to solicit some help and/or feedback.
