The Denver, Colorado chain, Smashburger has taken Houston by storm with over 10 locations in and around the city with the most recent location on Pin Oak.

I had the opportunity to visit the VIP event to provide my reviews back to you.

My review…if you have not yet tried smashburger you sure are missing one of the best burgers ever.  I haven’t tried all of the menu items yet, but what I have tried has been fabulous.

The Spicy Baja Burger is one of my favorites.  It has fresh jalapenos, guacamole, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle mayo on a spicy chipotle bun.  Just enough spice.

The Sweet Potato Fries are a great compliment to the Spicy Baja Burger.

If you aren’t a burger fan or want to eat less calories, you have other options such as the Spicy Baja Chicken Sandwich.

or the Spicy Veggie Black Bean Burger made with fresh jalapenos, guacamole, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle mayo on a spicy chipotle bun.

I actually look forward to trying the Avocado Bacon Burger the next time I visit Smashburger.  

I would say that Smashburger is definitely one of the best burgers.  Overall they are unique and fresh.  They are a bit more expensive than other burger restaurants, but I always say that you pay for what you get.

Smashburger Pin Oak in Katy is definitely 4 stars.
