Alright…this is probably the coolest feature of my hotel room…a motion detected light for the closet.  I only have to walk in the vicinity of the closet…and VOILA…lights on!  Amazing!!!

So I did some checking online for you…because come on…who wouldn’t want that for their house????  Not an easy thing to find.  There are several different types of motion sensor light options for the exterior, nightlights and to illuminate small areas, but not much on how to install a wired light to replace the one you currently have.

Your options would be to try one of these that you can buy at Bed Bath & Beyond that does give you about 13 feet of lighting,

call your local electrician or ask your builder (if you are planning to build anytime soon) to install.  This is definitely something that every woman AND man needs.  Heck…even your children need a motion sensor light in their closet.  Will probably save you some costs on the electrical bill.
