Strolling Through the Park

By: denise designed

Strolling through the park…

How can you not notice all the trees blooming?  And more specifically…the flowering trees?  Don’t get me wrong…I love a standard one, such as a water maple.  But my favorite is a flowering tree.  Take a look at a few below that add so much color…

I have no idea what type of tree this is, but took this picture while in Birmingham last week:

My most favorite tree that I discovered in Hawaii (I am going to order for my yard) is the African Tulip Tree:

If you have been in the MD and DC area during the spring, you have seen the Cherry Blossoms:

Of course the Crepe Myrtle is all over Houston:

You do have to be careful when selecting your tree of choice as some grow better than others in different regions. But a flowering tree can serve the same same purpose as any other one….as shade tree.  But they also add some fabulous color and design.

Again…you should treat your exterior as you would your interior.

Your challenge is to look at your yard and determine if you are happy with your tree choices. If not, then consider your options. You won’t be be disappointed adding so much color and height.  Good luck!
