…or will they?!?! Depends on whether you marry in the traditional church setting or whether you create the sounds yourself when marrying any other place. For most of you, you are already married so this may not interest you. But I have a friend that is just now planning hers and would love some help.
She found her dress already and I cannot wait to see it. But now she needs to decide on a location.
Your challenge (in case I lose you) is to provide us with any recommendations you might have.
To decide the location, you have to choose the setting. And the setting is best chosen once you know the number of people you want to invite or will potentially have in attendance and the time of year. Both of those have a significant impact. If you expect 100 guests, a destination wedding is probably not the best choice. Or if you want it in December, outside is probably not great unless you want to hear the chattering of your guests teeth.
Setting options include a Beach (destination wedding), a Vineyard (as there are several around the Hill Country), any local hotel (such as the Houstonian) or an old Plantation House.
Honestly…the sky is the limit and one can hold a wedding just about anywhere.
You can even get married while Sky Diving. Check out this site: http://www.vegasextremeskydiving.com/skydiving-weddings.html
Can’t wait to share what she has chosen so we can start picking the Location!!

Danke fuer deinen Blog! Ich glaube, wir haben Location und Datum. Juergens Hall am 21.12.2013… Jetzt brauche ich Ideen fuer die Tischdekoration in einer rustikalen Halle um Weihnachten, ohne in Traditionen zu verfallen.
