Have something you want to hide? How about a light switch? Well I had one.  A bare wall with two switch plates that not only prevented me from hanging anything because they were in the way, but just looked horrible with two switch plates.  Darn builder.  I wanted to be able to hide at least one of them, fill in the wall space and still be able to use the light switches as necessary.

So…I found the art piece I wanted, put hinges on it and added a magnetic strip.

End result…no bare wall, hidden light switch and an art piece.

Your challenge is to look at that space that is bare because you thought you could not hang anything due to light switches or anything else that is just in the way.  Now envision a canvas there.  Go find that canvas and hang.  Need some help?  Let me know.
