I am just excited that I am back to blogging again.  Yay!  So be sure to check out my Updated Blogging Calendar that I hope to stick to. Rather than managing weekly, I hope to manage monthly.

First up is Maria from Home Away From Home with her drop cloth bench project.  Her bench is fabulous and her tutorial is detailed.  I’m sure you could make this bench too.

Do you love those gigantic chalkboards?  I see them everywhere, but I sure don’t want to pay a gigantic price.  Christine from Little Brags shares her chalkboard tutorial, so you can make one too.  AND…bonus – she shows how to make an intricate chalkboard design by transferring a special image.  Yep, you gotta check it out.

Dria from DIO Home Improvements made the coolest faux crank table.  She shares her sketch and a complete “how to” if you want to make one also.  I think the cool factor is off the charts with this one.

Get out your tools for another great DIY project.  Robin from Redo It Yourself made a kitchen island from an old coffee table. Her son’s fiancee is the recipient of the country kitchen island.  What a lucky gal!
