Who Do You Appreciate?
Do you even take the time to think about it? Do you tell those people?
I read an article a couple of weeks ago that stated that successful and happy people tell others how grateful they are for them.
Every morning I have been trying to think about who I am grateful for and let them know. The more positive energy that you can create, the more positive you will think. Taking time to thank the people who are in your life can do that…help create that positive energy. Those people can be friends, colleagues, aquaintances, service providers…anyone.
While you are helping yourself, however, you are also helping someone else out. How would you feel if someone sent you a message or called you to tell you that they appreciated or were thankful for you?!??! You would most certainly feel good. It’s a nice feeling to know that, not only is someone thinking of you, but they appreciate you. You are then creating positive energy for both you and the person that you have reached out to.
Life can be so full of stress, sadness, frustration, etc so take the time today to thank someone. Plan to make it a daily ritual. You will see your relationships change, you will see people react to you differently, you will also feel good about what you have done. All the while, you are making someone else feel special and good as well.
